Night shots are tough!  Its best to shoot with a tripod at night.  This allows you to slow your shutter speed enough to capture the image without camera shake.  But, I didn’t feel like carrying or setting up a tripod (I was walking the dog) this evening.  Additionally, I have read that tripods can get you in trouble with security and the National Cathedral has a roaming security guard.  So, I leaned my camera against a low stone wall for this photo – worked pretty well!  Love the glow…
