Today was the much anticipated DC Cookie Swap (click to see all the great bloggers/Twitter friends who participated) hosted by my friend, Lisa. I am not going to lie…I was nervous to bake cookies for so many food bloggers (and chefs like Emily!), but I think my cookies and fudge (I cheated a little) turned out pretty well :)
Above are photos of Lisa’s cranberry cookies with her Christmas tree sparkling in the background and Chase’s pizelles, which remind me of growing up and the Italian side of my family. The event was so fun and I hope we make it an annual one. Hope to see everyone again soon!
